Nova

Nova is a small oncilla born to scientists who was surprised by her birth. Naturally, as any good parents would, they did experiments on her related to a plant known as Paracress, or Toothache Flower. Any experiments during this time related to their daughter went under the name "Project Nova", as they had given their daughter the name Nova because of her light abilities. They had apparently planned to get rid of her when their comrades began to notice odd activities going on, and so, they sent her to the Moon.
The Little Planet, to be precise.
Living on the Little Planet, learning it's secrets and learning the language of the planet(which just so happened to be English), she grabbed a branch from a tree and began using her powers to protect herself from the remaining robots on the Little Planet that Sonic hadn't defeated. After living for so long on the Little Planet, seemingly taking out the robots, her interest peaked after noticing that every year the Little Planet teleported itself to Mobius, which she learned a way to get to.
Getting her way to Mobius, she lands in the forest near Megalopolis, where she would soon find someone interesting...

Nova is a Plant Cat, with powers related to light that is powered by the same way she gets her energy, photosynthesis. As an oncilla, she is a climber.
Nova was once a hedgehog from first generation Pyro that had only one power, to go faster than light. Than, when I tried reviving the character in second generation Pyro, Nova was still a hedgehog, and I just didn't like her at that time. Finally, this version, Nova the Oncilla, is almost completely different from her earlier renditions.
